Japanese Vacation
 

    Now we describe Japanese holidays in 2009 in chronological order as below, please try to 

 

avoid the holiday as the shipping period.

1)January 1st(NEW YEAR'S DAY), named "がんじつ"in Japan. This day is New Year's Day.

2)January 12th(ADULTS DAY), for celebrating young people over 20 years old to become "adult"

with citizenship.

3)February 11th(NATIONAL FOUNDING DAY). On this day, Japanese celebrate the founding of the 

nation and the imperial line by its legendary first emperor, Jimmu, who established his 

capital in Yamato.

4)March 20th(SPRING BREEZE),for paying homage to ancestral Emperor spirits in the Temple or 

other places. 

5)April 29th, Birthday of the Emperor Majesty . 

6)May 3rd(CCONSTITUTION DAY),for marking the "Constitution of Japan"  implemented on May 3, 

1947.

8)May 5th (BOY’S DAY),formerly known as the Dragon Boat Festival,
